This is very sentimental... it was the start of some famous (on their own land) writers. *sniff*
Bob's 900 Pound Deer
• Did you hear?
Bob caught a nine hundred pound deer!
He said he was so strong,
he could carry it- but he was wrong.
On his way home he saw a log,
on which was a fifty pound frog!
Of course he now had to carry this as well,
and it was so heavy that he almost fell!
And he also found, on a mound,
his long-lost three hundred pound hound!
• Did you hear
About Bob's big deer?
It's size was so great that it had to be carried,
Across the river in a great big ferry!
Then Bob saw, to his delight,
A crocodile sunning in the bright sunlight!
Bob said, 'Come eat my deer!'
And the crocodile started to draw near.
But when he got close, Bob drew his spear!
It was too late for the crocodile to feast on the deer.
• Did you hear
What Bob did with his nine hundred pound deer?
He thought and thought about what to do,
And finally, and suddenly, he knew!
A Museum of Art, would be just right!
But the guard at the door put up quite a fight!
The guard at the door was very wide,
In fact, he was six feet, from side to side.
Finally, Bob made it in, but to his dismay,
They wouldn't let him put his deer on display.

That's right! I remember when you guys did that for the recitation.
I don't. But it sounds really cool.
